Diz is a classically trained artist and has spent much of her career as an illustrator in both advertising and publishing, producing over 40 books. Her ability to tell a story visually, together with a deep affinity for nature and her innate sense of humour, makes her take on anthropomorphic art an irresistible combination. Many of her working drawings are also available to purchase (The Sketch Book) and give a remarkable insight into her initial inspirations.
Diz works with a variety of media, including: gouache, water colour, pencil and pastel. She has also embraced the digital age and enjoys exploring the opportunities that this revolution has provided.
